Since 2 he's only had it for naps and night. Honestly, his teeth are fine and I'm glad I waited until we could reason with him. We went cold turkey and it wasn't bad. He'll be two at the end of July, and at that point, I plan to take it away cold turkey. That's what I did with my daughter, and it went fine. Honestly It was one night of hell. We did cold turkey. Her sleep has never been the same... of course could have been the 18 month sleep regression but I feel like it threw her sleep of course majorly. We were thinking about starting a month or two ago, but figured we should wait until all the plane travel was over, and then there was the crazy allergies and fevers and I just couldn't bear to take "sassy" away from my poor sick baby :( </p> <p>We're traveling out of town this weekend, so I guess we'll start when we get back? I'm so nervous, we've never had to actively wean him from anything before! Any tips? </p>
