Now 2 months later he's having a blast splashing and kicking. It was more to have an activity together than swimming classes per se. He loved it and we're doing a second session now. She loved it. </p> <p>However, I didn't love it 4 hours later when she had a huge all-over body rash. Rinse that baby right away! He's pretty happy with baths, so I'm hoping he'll be happier with warmer water (and he probably needed a nap, so that didn't help). I kind of wish we'd started earlier... The class was only once a week for about 45 minutes and DS loved it. Now we're doing a second session and he doesn't seem to like it as much, no idea why. We live on the coast so I really want LO to be a strong swimmer. She used to scream throughout her bath, but now she tolerates it. I didn't want to traumatize her too early!</p> <p>I have to wait a little while before we can start now though because I'm having surgery and won't be able to swim for at least a month. I think once that's all healed up we'll start. </p>
