He has sort of chilled on that plan for the slim chance we will want another; however neither of us want another within the next few years so Mirena is perfect. We used condoms + me refusing to do anything at any point in my cycle where I had any change of getting pregnant haha. Which for me meant as soon as I was done breastfeeding. I wasn't willing to take anything while nursing.<br /> Once DS had made it clear that we were done, I let one month go by and then filled my prescription.<br /> I was very happy to have my clear skin, no more bloat, &amp; lighter/shorter period back. I was on it for 11 years before stopping for 1 month to TTC and got pregnant right away.
