LO's been on it for awhile now. Still working on getting rid of the second nap, but for months, this has helped us immensely. Basically, you play for 2 hours after morning wake up, then nap, after that, 3 hours of awake time, then nap, then 4 hours until bedtime. We got lucky in that LO took to it. Now that he's a toddler (still not walking on his own, but damn close), it's become so important to wear him out in between naps. He takes 3 crappy short naps. Sometimes he'll nap longer, but there's no rhyme or reason to it! We also put him down for a nap after 2 hours awake, though he often goes longer at daycare (though he doesn't SLEEP any longer, so I don't get it). It's worked well with our LO.
