It happened gradually where we started putting him more and more in the crib for naps and then for the night. He outgrew his P&amp;P bassinet pretty early on.</p> <p>His room is right next to ours though, so we hear him if he starts crying during the night. We were basically living in the living room and LO was sleeping on us or in the swing. One night around 3am I just decided to lay her down in her crib instead. We have a couch in the nursery so I slept on that for a few nights before retreating to my own bed. Both nursery and bedroom doors open. About six steps from my bed to her crib.
