She wore a bib 24/7. But by 5mo there were no teeth and less drool. Then she didn't pop teeth through until 10 months. Signs became more impressive around 5.5 months (NEEDED to be chewing on something non stop, more fussy if she did t have something in her mouth). I'm doubtful that the drool/sucking at 4 months was actually teething. You'll know for sure when you start to see the little nubs pop up. Babies have to learn to swallow their saliva, which is why they are soooo drooly! I think once they discover their hands they spend a lot of time experiencing them with their mouth.
