Mine were doing 6 hour stretches early on. But I credit formula feeding and extended NICU stays which got us on a strict schedule.<br /> ETA Not a recommended way to get your kids on a schedule. Not there yet for either. Most nights? 18m for the first, the second seems to go through phases. She slept 12 hours every night from 2-5 months, then woke up every 3 hours every night until 8 months, then slept great until 11 months, and now sleeps 7-5 ish, has a bottle and goes back down, most mornings. Before that she had about a 4-week long phase at 12 weeks where she was STTN.<br /> DD2 &amp; DS2 (twins): Well we started to dream feed them at midnight (aka when we go to bed) at about 2 or 3 months old and then they'd sleep until 6+am. But my 3-4 weeks old, she was sleeping 11p,-5am with no wakeups, but neither of my kids have had that magical 10-12 hours of uninterrupted sleep other people experience. At 4.5 he sleeps through the night about 1/3 of the time. </p> <p>#2 is 9.5 months (almost 8 adjusted) and is no where close yet. He's woken at 5:30 a.m. since birth and never missed that waking, ever, and because we're both early risers, we don't count that against STTN (just us though; I know some don't count STTN unless they make it to 7 a.m. ). We rented the SNOO and he LOVES it. Goes to sleep every night on his own in it. He has always been finicky with naps and we had to sleep train him at 7 months as he was waking 4-5X a night....more than as a newborn. I don’t, but he still has to ask. When LO2 was born he stopped coming into our room because the baby was in there. Instead he would just yell for us 🙄 it was a long battle to get him to go to sleep on his own, stay in his bed and not call us unless it was an emergency or nightmare. But we coslept and the wakeups to eat all night were not very disruptive sleepwise - until they were once he was more mobile - at which point it wasn't too bad to train him to sleep through the night in his crib. He is still a light sleeper, struggles to fall back asleep if something wakes him up too much, and a cuddly little guy who doesn't like being alone. I think both would have made it pretty painful to sleep train on the younger side. He’s 4.5 now and still most likely to wake.<br /> 3rd: 7 months, combo of age and daytime sleep training I think got her to figure out nights too. </p> <p>I hope your nights get better soon! </p>
