Some kids take a lot longer to sleep without wake ups. DS usually wakes up, fusses, sometimes has a drink or some milk, and then goes back to sleep, it's rare that he needs more than a minute or two of my attention. We were at 2-3 night wakeups for a while after that, then some mild sleep training at 6 months to get down to 0-2 wakeups (wait 5 min to try to let her settle herself, and try not to nurse to sleep). We first trained at 6.5 mo and she STTN for one glorious week, but then we went on vacation... Then she got a cold... And so on. We re-trained at 9.5 mo and she STTN until we weaned, when she started randomly waking up at 5:30/6:00 to eat. So we re-trained again. His bedtime has been around 9, and he's usually up for the day 6:30-7ish. Any of this sound normal?? Wondering when these stretches of sleep will lengthen.... This is one sleepy mama!! </p>
