I haven't worried about SIDs with either of my children. DS is nearly 14 months, DD is 3 weeks. I had a lot of questions when DS was born about how he should sleep but I was never worried about him sleeping. I typically wake up 2 or 3 times a night to check the monitor. But I don't feel absolutely consumed by the thought like I did for the first 6 months. He's in the rock n play next to our bed but we plan to transition him before 6 months (ideally within the next month -- he goes to daycare at 12 weeks and needs to learn to sleep in a crib). But I'm not obsessively starting at him to make sure, either. He rolls both ways like a champ and has started crawling, but this doesn't stop me from zooming in on the camera to make sure his body is moving up and down from his breathing!
