Somewhere around 14-15 months. At her 1 year checkup I actually told the Doctor I was concerned that she was eating too much... hahahaha, definitely not a problem now!

At 14 months my daughter developed the extremely annoying habit of either throwing the food she doesn't like on the floor or putting it all in the pocket of her bib. The bib thing is actually pretty funny because it just feels so sneaky for such a little kid to come up with!

Consistent successes are fruit, breakfast sausage, and any sort of carb. All other meats and vegetables are hit or miss.

Around a year. DS ate eveeeeerything before that. Now I'm lucky if I can get him to eat a plain roll.

I would say probably around 16-18 months. Unfortunately, I do think that the majority of toddlers are at least a little picky, regardless of how good of eaters they were as infants.

My LO has always been super picky. At almost 2, she is crazy picky now:(. She'll like something today and run from it tomorrow. She will not eat a thing at meals (except ketchup, always game for that) and I'm not sure how she's still so healthy. I guess milk really does a body good.

LO is almost 14 months and has becoming picky for a couple months now. However, I should mention that we continue to give her stuff that she has turned down over and over again, and sometimes she'll surprise us. She probably eats fewer types of food now than before but every so often she'll start eating something she used to turn down (most recently apples).

This week! She's nearly 14 months old and has refused to eat what I've cooked for the last three nights. We had mac n'cheese (she ate it for lunch the other day with no problem), lasagna (which she ate last month just fine and hasn't had in a few weeks), and rice/meat/cheese. She ended up eating a piece of bread, some raisins, and yogurt last night. I'm trying not to make it a battle, but its so frustrating.

20 months for us.

Although he was picky before that with textures (I think). We had to do purees for the longest time before he finally got into finger foods, and then he'd only eat certain ones at home, but was good about eating a meat, fruit, veggie, etc, so I was happy with it. Now he won't touch his food half the time!

DS started off the same, but now at 11mo he won't try something if he hasn't seen it before, or even if it's in a different form than he's had it before. I wish I had crammed in more different foods before we got to this stage!

Around 2 years old. He still eats fairly well but lately he just rejects dinner or takes a couple of bites when he used to eat a full plate. He also started daycare at the same time. But he eats food there that he doesn't at home. Crazy kids!

Fingers crossed but our two year old is so far a good eater however she was very slow to get started and still having large amounts of breastmilk up till 18 months.

Title says it all. Our 10.5 month old has never turned down food. She's an enthusiastic eater, and doesn't stop until the food is gone. Before I celebrate, I always assume this will change soon. Am I right? Do most kids start with a love of food then become picky? What's your experience?
