5.5 months for both girls. I've heard that the drooling is developmental and doesn't always mean teething?

Wagon Jr. started around 3 months, and LMW is starting as of two days ago (she's 3 months as well). According to my mom, both my brother and I started teething right at 3 months as well. Friggin.

LO's two bottom teeth cut through a few days after he turned 5 months. He has been drooling since 3 months. His sleep was not affected but he got really fussy while nursing at around 4 months and I could see that his bottom gums looked red and slightly swollen.

My LO got his first tooth just after 6 months. He was drooling for 2.5 months and everyone thought a tooth was about to cut at around 4 months. He is 8 months now and he still hasn't cut his 2nd tooth! Other than the drooling (which now comes and goes in waves) we had no other symptoms and no hiccups at all with his sleep. He's a pretty fussy baby by nature so it's hard to say if he was any fussier or clingier right before his tooth cut.

She got both her bottom two within a week of each other mid month 5. She was her most drooly around 2-3 months? I did notice the weeks before her tooth cut through she was pulling at her ears a lot.
But besides that not a lot of other synptoms?

DD was almost 4 months. She is 10 months with 9 teeth. She was a little fussy when her front top teeth came in but ice rings seemed to help!

my kid is a freak of nature... I had NO idea he was teething because he wasn't fussy/cranky, he was sleeping just fine (maybe ONE additional wakeup which was NBD), no drool etc.. Then all of a sudden DH was playing with him and felt the nub of a tooth! This was right around 6 months (so I voted 5-6 mos). They came in quick and painlessly.

Just get his two top teeth and though he was drooling a little more for about a week prior, and clingy for two days - he otherwise showed no more symptoms. They cut through within two days and he is happy :) I feel incredible blessed!

I have given up on tooth watch. Anytime he shows any signs remotely related to teething, I write off any fussy behavior or nighttime wake ups to the fact that he must be teething. The kid is almost 10 months old and has NO TEETH. My mom said I didn't have any teeth until I was 1 and I am thinking my little guy will be the same way.

DD was 6 months; DS was 3. :/

I think there's a period of "inactive" teething where the teeth are moving down through the gums, but not actually breaking the skin. That seems to be the part that lasts longest for my kids, and it seems to be the part that gives them the most pain. The "active" teething part only last a week or so, and they maybe only have 2 days per tooth of actual crankiness, whereas the "inactive" teething can take months per tooth.

Teething is a mystery to me! For 2 months DS has soaked through 5 bibs a day and has been gnawing on everything he can find. I'm on tooth watch (he's 5 months).

And feel free to mention how long the drooling/gnawing lasted before the tooth popped (and any other ways you knew he/she was teething!)
