The two nursing sessions were pretty short so I don't think she was getting much. Our pediatrician says the transition isn't necessarily from formula/breast milk to WCM but a transition from a primarily liquid diet to a diet based on solids....which is why if your LO eats calcium rich foods then you don't have to stress so much about milk intake. We were told she needed to have 15-20oz at that point. He didn't seem to notice, which was also the case when I went from BM to formula. I'm ready to be done with formula and bottles, but I won't feel comfortable doing it until she's more willing to eat some proteins, as well as bigger portions at a time. </p> <p>Anyway, I'm just wondering if any of y'all waited a little bit after your LO's first birthday to switch to WCM/alternative. From what I've seen it looks like 12 months is the norm, but the way it looks now, I'm thinking it will probably be 13-14 months for us. </p> <p>When was your LO weaned &amp; drinking exclusively WCM/alternative (this doesn't include comfort nursing, or nursing for any reason other than necessary nutrition)? </p>
