She keeps reverting back to two naps and even when (I thought) I had her down to one she wasn't sleeping as much. With two naps she sleeps about three hours, sometimes a bit more, sometimes a bit less, spread over two naps. By about 15-16 months she had trained her for one so it coincided with the big kids in the group. She's in a home daycare. So we probably started the transition around 16 months?</p> <p>For my second, she was down to one nap by like.. 10 months. We just weren't home for her to have regular naps. She was a little cranky about it at first, but I just added in some fun morning activities and she adjusted after a couple of weeks. If your older LO doesn't take a morning nap, I think she is fine to drop down to one so you can do fun stuff over the summer. How about your LOs? Did you encourage them one way or another? I wanted DS to keep two because I was pregnant, but I'd live DD to drop to one because it'd be convenient for summer outings. </p>
