It wasn't happening right away because I was exhausted from being up and in labor all day/night, mama needed some rest...and a hairbrush and a touch of makeup. Maybe that was just me, but I didn't want the post-labor photos of me where I still looked like a hot mess going up on social media! Thankfully, our families (even my MIL who lovessss FB) was respectful about it and without my even having to ask, no one posted any photos or news of his birth until we were ready and posted about it our selves.
