My son had attitude from birth. If he didn't want to look at you, he'd turn his head.

I think E was about 2 when she developed the attitude. She complains that everything is "boring" and says "I don't like this song, turn it off" when we are in the car. "This is rubbish" is another of her favourites. The other day, we were in a shop and DH was singing along to the music, just quietly to her as he carried her. She announced "Daddy! Stop singing! These people don't want to hear it, they're already sad". OMG, she's only 2.5!

@twodoghouse: haha I was going to say the same thing about my LO! Birth definitely. She's a sassafras.

Sounds like my LO 2...so much fun but full of sass! I think she got some sass right after she started walking..20ish months.

DD - approx 36 hrs after birth. She has her moments, but she's less sassy at 21 months because she can communicate better. Now it's only breakdowns a couple times a week because her life is so difficult.

Luckily her twin brother has always been easy going, and only occasionally gets an attitude when he's teething or tired.

My youngest is almost 2, and she has developed the biggest attitude lately...I'm thinking she picked it up from her sister, but she's even worse! Maybe it seems that way because she is younger, but it's rough. She stomps her feet and will say "not yet!" she just has so much attitude! I think I'm in trouble for the next few years.

Is there any way to control this a little bit, with someone so young?
