It's nice to have on extremely long car rides, but we do not take it out with us often. He will watch songs on the tab like Twinkle Twinkle Little Stars. We don't have a problem with him using his tab because he has NO interest in TV or watching short videos. (We use it for Yo Gabba Gabba videos on long car rides.) I usually keep it well out of sight at home. For a while it was a good way to keep her distracted when we were out.<br /> At 2.5 she doesn't care for my phone or computer anymore. LO's grandparents give them their phone and ipad ALL THE TIME so when she is home with me she kind of expects it. We've let her look at pictures on it on the plane probably since 3.5 months? </p> <p>For about a month now, we FaceTime friends and family and she loves it. Now she's crawling/trying to crawl (7.5 mo) - my phone is the #1 motivator to get her to crawl to! #2 is the remote control. Yikes! It's cute and funny now, but I don't want a screaming kid who only wants the phone or ipad (I've seen so many). Of course, now it'll be exactly what'll happen to me. Jinxed myself. And I know it's our fault since we're on our phones all the time, though I try to be conscious of not letting her see the screen.</p> <p>When did your LO become obsessed with the gadgets? </p>
