My parents wanted to eat mcDonalds so we all went. I had a hard time deciding what to get, but ended up giving him the nuggets and apple slices from his sister's happy meal. We don't eat there often, so I don't feel bad about giving it to the kids once in a while. Which is unfortunate. At our house, they rarely ever get it unless we pick them up late and are both exhausted and can't think of what to make for dinner. I didn't have the energy to make anything else for myself, even a grilled cheese or something easy, so I ran through a drive through. Lo has seen me eat fast food before and was fine with it, but now she is more aware and wants what I have. I was able to distract her because I had forgotten to give her a turkey spinach meatball from the fridge so that was exciting enough for her..... but I also know this is the end of me eating fast food in front of lo without sharing.</p> <p>I'm just not sure I'm ready for her to eat it yet. She's only 17 months. </p>
