The other days she decides she doesn't need a third nap. We keep her up for 2.5-3 hours at a time and naps usually for only 1 hour. How long does you LO nap for and stay up for? She was a horrible napper before though so I think she's still trying to figure out her groove. At daycare he always has 2. He's an early riser when he goes without a night waking and sometimes needs a 3rd nap to get to bedtime. But now he can do a 4.5 hr stretch before bedtime...so as long as second nap ends at 2:30 or later, I don't attempt a 3rd nap; sometimes a 3rd catnap happens in the car. He was never a long napper, though, would sleep 45 mins max for each nap.
