I'm anxious for her to learn the one at a time thing. She just pulls everything out, dumps every basket, takes out every book, starts throwing things around, and then finds one random thing in the pile of mess to play with. </p> <p>@shellio: We don't really have the storage to do a toy rotation. She has a few toys in her room, but they're basically all in our living room. I remember babysitting a 12 month old who put his toys away. Was the freakiest thing ever. The hard part is ensuring that they clean up after each activity, for us at least. I try to do that (they do it at preschool) but it seems like one activity is just naturally part of the next one. He made up his own cleanup song all of his own initiative haha! I have to tell him that before getting out a new toy, we need to clean up the other one and he's been great about it thus far! Can't wait for the day... my living room is literally always a disaster. </p>
