I do remember we were able to play catch last summer, he turned 2 that summer, with a ball and glove. It was sloppy tho! He is much better using a larger ball. I think doing so purposefully and with any sort of direction is a while off. He started kicking around 18 months. There is no sense of aim for either activity though. yesterday he caught a ball (big handball type ball) for the first time. He was pretty proud of himself for that one!
