Next step would be harder wooden puzzles like the Melissa and Doug alphabet puzzle or the wood puzzles that form a picture rather than just fitting in the right spot. After that, there are some M&amp;D puzzles that make a picture but there isn't a picture on the board. Then bigger floor jig saw puzzles.
