They can grasp how to play by the rules and they can sit still for the most part at that age. That said, don't break the ice is a fun game to play with young kids. He caught on to the concept pretty quickly (not that it's that hard). We play every night as a family. It's so fun! Before that, I think we did play Memory and some simpler games.
