She says it unprompted now, too, and it's the sweetest thing I have ever hear in my entire life. Sometimes as I'm leaving her room after putting her in the crib, she lays there saying "mama... I yyyaaaa (her version)". So stinking cute. </p> <p>She doesn't necessarily know what the words mean but she definitely gets that it has to do with affection. Because I was gone all week for a meeting and I picked her up from daycare right after I landed and when she hugged me and was so excited to see me she said, "Miss mama!"
