Liv was sitting up on her own at around 5 months. She could get from laying down or on her belly to sitting at around 6.5 months, crawling at 7. Now shes 8 months and is all over the darn place, I cant keep her contained!

It was at about 7 months. LO started crawling at about 7.5 months but more commando style than anything. At almost 11 months LO is now transitioning from commando to crawling.

LO is 8 months and just started sitting unassisted a couple weeks ago. She was doing the tripod sit a couple months ago i'd like to say. She still can't go from lying down to sitting, she just doesn't seem interested. She's more interested in moving.

You didn't have a poll choice for Lala, but she learned to sit up at about 4 months. I think it helped that she was super tiny and wiry at the time :)

my first was doing the tripod (gorilla) pose (where they sit up, but use their hands out in front of them for support) at around 6 months and sat nicely on her own more near 7 months. She crawled at around 8-9 months.

my second was doing tripod (gorilla) pose at 4.5 months, army crawling at 5.5 months and sitting independently a week after turning 6 months. She started "really-crawling" shortly after. At 6.5 months she could go from tummy/crawling to sitting by herself. It's too cute. Love that milestone.

Maddy is 5.5 months and started sitting on her own a couple weeks ago, she can't get into the sitting position on her own yet. I put her in her swing last week and she sat straight up, guess we can't use that anymore :(
She tries very hard to situp, but. she gets 1/2 way up and very frusteratred!

I can't remember anymore! She was crawling at 5 months and cruising at 6 months but couldn't sit. I remember that because it seemed so weird that she could do those other things but could not sit.

LO is 8 months and still only really sits if we put her there. If she's in a seat that reclines, like her bouncer or swing, she will sit up by herself. But she doesn't go from laying to sitting.

Charlie could stay in a sitting position if we put him there around 5 1/2 months, but he couldn't get to a sitting position and stay there on his own until he was 7 months. He actually started crawling (army crawl) at 6 months before he sat up.

Olive is going to turn 6 months soon, and she just started rolling over so I know she's a ways from sitting up. But sitting up is such a fun milestone, and it's easier to take pictures of them when they're sitting up!
