But be careful what you wish for; as soon as my LO figured out how to sit, he immediately figured out how to pull up and crawl. There was no cute sitting stage. There were a few head bruises to show for it! At 7 months, she pretty much has control now. If she falls, it's because she is trying to go to a crawling position. At 5 months, she was sitting assisted and for a few seconds unassisted.
