DS1 just turned 2 and hasn't tried yet. That was one of the questions on his 2 year well visit appointment. He'll help but doesn't do it alone.

My LO is 27 months and can take off her shoes and socks. I help her with them on and off. She can put on her shirt if I help her put it over her head because more likely than not, she puts it on backwards, but she can put her arms through and pull the shirt down. She can pull her pants up as well, but I help her put her feet through the opening. She can take off her jackets and sweaters, but I hold up the jacket for her so she can put her arms through.

When she's adamant she's going to put on her shirt by herself, it's an exercise in patience, but usually I let her try with her pajamas since I'm not pressed for time like in the mornings.

Ugh I am dreading this! Our mornings are so rushed as it is I am hoping DD (24 months) doesn't want to do this for a while.

E is 26 months old and has a major independence streak. The past week or so he's been very insistent on trying to dress himself (and not doing a bad job...). It's a bit of a patience-drainer when we're trying to get out of the house in the morning, though!
