They caught on pretty quickly and both sucked away on the 2nd or 3rd time I gave it to them. It's not a huge quantity, but they definitely have the action down. It might be coincidence, but the lightbulb moment happened for both of them when I gave the cup to them in their highchairs. She definitely knows what it is for and how to maneuver it but it still takes her a few tries to get the spout in her mouth and tip it. He still hasn't gotten the sucking function down well. He has a Tommy Tippee and the top is silicone and he bites on the mouthpiece and water flows. It works, but it's messy.
