We would listen when she said, all done and put her down so she didn't have the opportunity to mess around. It took a couple of weeks but he eventually started enjoying it and eating most of his lunch. I think once she can eat finger food you can get a smaller bento and start there. Maybe you can start at home to "train" her to eat out of a bento? I think that's what I did to get my son used to it. But I only did it for a week before he started school. LO's still too young now, but she'll be on solids when we visit so I'm looking up weaning gear. I'm imagining us picnicking ... her with her little bento box! But something tells me she'll be too young for it when we visit.</p> <p>At what age did your LO start eating out of a lunchbox or bento box on their own without losing (or throwing) any of the pieces? </p>
