I felt her move right at 16 weeks. I could talk to her and get to kick my hand around 18-19. DH felt it at 19 weeks. Once she started, she didn't stop. I loved it except when I trying sleep. ;) now it is funny to watch her kicking around and see what she used to do on the inside on the outside now.

I started feeling genuine kicks around week 20. They were so sweet, at first. By week 34, they were violent karate chops.

At the end of week 21 (like the night of 21w6d when I went to bed). DH felt him kick by week 23. I really only felt kicks on my left side and really low for the first several weeks because I have an anterior placenta.

I think it was around 23-24 weeks. I didn't feel regular movement until about 21-22 weeks. DS was not a big kicker so they never hurt. The movements I felt were more of him stretching and adjusting himself.

I just looked back on my blog, and saw that I was feeling pretty consistent kicks at 19 & 20 weeks. Week 18 was the hardest for me: all of my 1st trimester symptoms were gone, and I wasn't feeling anything! I bet you'll feel kicks by the end of the week! :)

I think maybe 20 weeks?? I felt a flutter around 14 weeks! DH could feel him move around 18 weeks which was pretty cool and early from what I hear! Now we feel him like ROLL all over - it's so cool :) I'm 26 weeks.

@oliviaoblivia: lol I know. this is exactly what my husband said this morning. I got up and told him about my dream and I was sad it wasn't real and I wasn't feeling real kicks yet he's like "yea thats going to be fun for about a minute. Then you'll have to deal with months of getting kicked…" haha

I'm sure you will feel it soon! I voted for week 17, because my husband felt it then so it was definitely a good kick. But I felt stronger kicks at 16. Not sure why I felt it so early. It wasn't consistent until 22 ish weeks maybe?

@blackbird: haha thanks. I think I'm made more anxious by the fact that I had a dream this morning between alarms that she was kicking up a storm and it was SO COOL then I woke up and realized it wasn't real and I was so sad!

I'm 19 weeks and for the past 2.5 weeks I've been feeling flutters or maybe subtle floppiness of my girl but no legit kicks yet. I'm so anxious!! (My husband says to calm down because pretty soon I'll not be so excited to get kicked lol). I do not have an anterior placenta so I didn't think it would take this long… although I am overweight and I've heard that can make it take longer to feel legit kicks.

So, how far along were you when you started getting actual kicks and not just fluttery floppy feelings from your LO?
