I can't pinpoint it exactly when but over the past month or two E's definitely been developing an independence streak! He won't let me feed him anything by hand anymore--he wants up grab it from me and put it in his own mouth. Usually the same with a spoon or toothbrush. When he doesn't want a water bottle or paci when offered he'll smack it away.

He has a new habit of trying to pull my shirt/bra down to nurse, which I'm not okay with. I say no, pull him away and try to redirect his attention but half the time he gets really pissed off. He's also taken to hitting me when he nurses. I often have to hold his arm to me.

He also does a cute thing when he's really tired and ready for a nap--he'll crawl/cruise/walk(!!!) over to his crib, hold onto it, and yell until I put him in (and he goes right to sleep).

Sigh, I can't wait until he can use words!

How's your LO's behavior these days?
