It made me SO nervous. </p> <p>I still put him to sleep on his back but he would end up on his belly. The pedi had me roll him back for awhile, but after a few weeks, he wouldn't even go down to sleep unless he was on his belly and re-rolling him was pointless. Now he's 9.5 months and sleeps mostly on his back or side. Sleeping on his belly at such a young age was a direct result of uncontrolled reflux (pedi didn't believe me that he had it). As soon as he started rolling over at around 4 months we let him sleep on his belly. He's a big time belly sleeper, even now. Whenever I got in to check on him during naps, he's usually on his tummy. We would hear her flip in the middle of the night and I'd flip her back over. He rolls back to front but can't get back and after 10 minutes of struggling on his belly he starts getting loud and cries. He was a rolling machine that could not be stopped. The first night I would flip him back on his back in the crib, but he fought me each and every time. I decided that it would be a battle every night if I kept doing that and gave up the next day.
