She LOVES carrots, and likes the other foods we've tried. We started with the orange veggies and are on green now. Next up is avocado, peas and green beans. I'm going to try and work some lentils in here too. My pedi said no meat until 6 months so I figured lentils would be a good protein source. I'm trying to hold off on fruit until we've though our veggies. Followed by apple slices. We started meat at about 6 months old. We gave him big pieces of meat and he just kind of sucked on them. We started with chicken breast and bacon. </p> <p>He had a shallow gag reflex and tongue thrust. So, he was very able to handle the food just fine.
