The whole excessive drooling and hand gnawing. His first teeth came in around 5.5 months. Looking back he only exhibited real symptoms I think the week his teeth broke through. No teeth yet, but she does a lot of drooling, hand chewing, etc. Apparently, my brothers and I all got our first teeth at 3-4 months. Any time I have wondered if LO was "teething" she was actually sick (usually ear infection) and that is what the article says is the case a lot of the time. Hand gnawing and a drool machine. We went through about 15 bibs and multiple outfits per day.</p> <p>Her first tooth didn't emerge until 13 months and to little fanfare.
