I know they are a tantrum because if I move him from something he shouldn't be doing or take it away he kicks and screams, throws his head back or crawls with it downward and stomps his feet. I am paying for that now with my second though haha</p> <p>Liam started having real meltdowns at three but he is so much better now that we are nearing four. When he starts I remove him from public and he gets a serious time out and I do not give in to what he is wanting. Usually it's something material and it seems to happen at the grocery store more often than not. The people in the store should not be subjected to my child's meltdowns so I have left an entire grocery cart of items before and taken him out of the store and home for a time out!
