She even cries with DH, unless I make a quick and quiet exit. She never cries when I put her down or hand her off she just kinda stares at people and then warms up with smiles later. She has an enormous family so its hard to make "bonds" with everyone.</p> <p>She did go ballistic for my mother all night last night for and overnight. I drove home from NYC because she only slept 2 hours between 12 noon and 4am!! I did start seeing small signs of it around 8 months though. Now she is a bit more shy around people other than DH and myself, and she also will whine when we leave her alone in a room. She always comes looking for us. He never showed any signs of separation anxiety, but recently he is so attached to me, and cries when I walk out of the room, and always prefers me over anyone else. </p>
