By 13 months, he was full on walking (and falling!). He started crawling late at 8 months but as soon as he got that down he started trying to walk. Milestones are given in ranges, so as long as a child is in the range, then I don't worry.</p> <p>My newphew didn't walk until 18 months or later because he was using one of those wheeled walkers, so he never had to learn, he just pushed himself along.</p> <p>@Mrs. Sunglasses: lastly (this is a sensitive point for me), a child that has developmental disabilities isn't a burden, they just require different support. Usually around the 15 month mark buty niece clearly isn't a boy. Plus, they say walk early, talk late and vice versa but she barely says 6 words. </p> <p>I just hope she won't be "slow" it doesn't seem like she would. I just think my sister and BIL. I thought he was on the later side too but maybe not. My daughter just turned a year and can care less about walking as well. She was late sitting up too. She's more into climbing.
