My DD is 14 months and I am already buying 2T in shirts to get a longer wear out of them. They mostly look like tunics though so we wear it with leggings. I will probably buy 3T shirts, around this time next year. Pants or shorts she is still in 12-18 months and dresses are more forgiving so I let her wear it loose in sizes 18-24 months. PJs are 18-24 months also, we're wearing all sorts of sizes. He can still wear some 2T/24m stuff, but he busts out of a lot of it (especially in length).
