DS is 17 months old and still in a sleepsack. We use an A+A muslin sleepsack because we don't have central air and it gets really warm in his room, especially during the day. He weighs around 25lbs (not sure how tall) and in a large. The large is actually a little big on him. Baby Deedee sleepsacks seem to be pretty long too. We haven't had any issues with him trying to escape the crib and I think the sleepsack is what keeps him from trying.

We had to stop when S was 6 months old, because he HATED it. He is a wild sleeper, and I think it restricted his movement too much (he also despises sleepers, he only sleeps well in separates).

I love our Baby Deedee sleep sack because my LO moves around in her sleep and I don't have to worry about her kicking off blankets!

@FutureMrsMcK: My guy loved to be swaddled. Since he's teething, he loves to nom on his sleep sack.

LO is 19 months and in a sleep sack. I found them for $10 at Burlington Coat Factory and they're really good quality. They're the kind where her feet stick out of the holes but it's still big enough that we can stick her feet inside to keep them warm.

I don't trust that she'd keep the blanket on her, and I like that it keeps her from climbing out of the crib.

LO is 5 months and she has used the sleeveless ones since she was about 2 months old, with pajamas and a onesie underneath. I get them at a kids consignment shop though, so the price is right.

I didn't use a sleep sack with Ria, but I think I will keep Sunny in hers until she's close to two. Ria didn't stay under her covers until that age, and Sunny is such a climber, I hope it will help keep her in the crib.

We've had DD in a zipadeezip since 4.5 months and she sleeps so well in them, I'm not sure when I want to take it away. She's almost 13 months and DH thinks she should be old enough but it keeps her warm (covered hands and feet - she used to have bad face eczema so it prevented scratching too) and there is a lot of length for her to grow into. Plus she looks so cute!

@cascademom: Yeah, DS hated being swaddled so we started putting him in a sleep sack when he was a few weeks old. It's really convenient for middle of the night diaper changes!

I'm wondering the same thing. One of the moms at our daycare loves the sleepsack so much that she wants her LO in them for awhile.

Our LO has been in one every night since about 4-5 months. I like them. It's part of our going to bed routine.

DS is currently wearing long-sleeved fleece sleep sacks over a diaper to bed (he runs hot + warmish room), but he's so tall that I don't think they'll fit him much longer.

We're debating just putting him to bed in pajamas once he gets too long for him. But I know some of you put your toddlers in the sleeveless ones...do you find a lot of benefits from them? The ones I've seen are pricey...are they worth the money?
