Around ten weeks he was sleeping about 8 hours then he would eat and then go back to sleep for another 4 hours. Now at almost 6 months he goes to bird around ten and usually wakes up to eat at 6-7 and then goes back to sleep... no sleep regressions yet... knock on wood.

STTN is 5-6 hours, i believe! LO started STTN at 3 months. At around 4 months, there were 2 nights where she slept 11 hours straight, but then went back to 6-7 hour stretches.

@highwire: he doesn't STTN but at about 6w he started to do random ones. So, out of the 7 days a week I sometimes get 1 night as a surprise thrown in there! It is kind of nice:) and by STTN, I mean a 6h stretch, quick feed, and another 5-6h stretch. I would be alarmed if he went through the night without a feed. He is only 10w (today).

We started gettin 8 hrs at 8 weeks, 9 at 9 weeks, and 10 at 10 weeks. That held steady until 4-4.5 months when she started waking up 1-2 times per night. At 7ish months she started sleeping 11-12 hours per night, but since we've been traveling for Christmas, that's not happening.

M has been sttn for about the past 2 weeks. She wakes up for 5 minutes, fusses but falls back asleep. We didn't really sleep train. I have a feeling it might be ending soon!
Oh she's a few days shy of 8 months.

@hilsy85: I'm convinced C is L in the female form!
My daughter is 8 weeks and has been sleeping 8 hours, even did 9 once. But like hilsy, she goes down at 8 and wakes up around 4-5am. Around 4-5 weeks she started doing 6 hour stretches but week 7, she went back to 4-5 hour stretches. It lasted exactly a week and then the day she turned 7 weeks
Old, she went back to sleeping more. It was kind of bizarre.

For an infant sttn is a 6-7 hour stretch...DS did 6/7 hours at around 6 weeks old and now at 9 weeks, he's regularly doing 8-9. He goes to bed at 730/8 and wakes up around 4 to eat and then goes back to sleep til 730/8

DD had about a month of STTN starting at 2 months of age, then the dreaded 4 month regression reared itself for over six weeks before she went back to SSTN. She still has one night nursing session most days anywhere between 5 and 6 but goes right back down until 7ish.

She did her first 8-10 hr stretches in week 11, but started 6-7 hr stretches around week 6-7?? I can't remember..she generally does 6-8 hour stretches now (8p bedtime, wakes btwn 3-5a), then gets up again at 7 and 8/9am. She's congested right now though so I'm not sure if shed skip the 7a if she could breathe easier.
