Today, I planned to stretch his morning longer to see if it would help (thanks for the advice @Sammyfab) and then lo and behold, he was showing crazy tired signs after two hours and crashed when I put him in the crib. He just naturally transitioned on his own. One day, he just refused to take the 2nd nap and his first name became longer. The first week of changing to only one nap was kinda crazy, but the second has been smooth sailing. She rests more and better with 1 nap (2.5 hours), but sometimes she wakes up too early and kind of takes two naps. He's 15 months and some days wants 2 naps, others just 1. He's gotten a little better since walking on his own, but every day is a little different. I notice that he still gets tired after about 3 hours of awake tinge, but sometimes really fights sleep. Yesterday was 1 nap, but he STTN, if he wasn't a total bear at 5pm, I'd be fine with it. If he sleeps 11+ hrs overnight he wants to go even longer sometimes! At that age my LO could handle 3 hours.
