14.5 months. He always went down fine for his first nap but refused an afternoon nap totally. It was a rough tradition and he does not take a long nap but he sleeps longer at night.

Eta - at daycare he took a morning cat nap in the stroller and long afternoon nap from 10-14 mos.

@sunny: He transitioned a little after 12 months. He was never a great napper, so the 1 nap was a good change. He actually naps for 2 hours now. That was unheard of when he was taking more than 1 nap a day.

I think right around 11m. She just got so hard to put down for a second nap I gave up. And sometimes the second nap, although short, was interfering with bedtime. Dd seemed fine.

11m. He completely refused his second nap for a full week and took it out of my hands :( He wakes around 6:30 and takes his name from roughly 11ish-1ish (usually less than 2 hours) and is typically in bed by 6:30

I'm actually thinking about transitioning my LO to one nap. She is 15 months and is currently waking up at 7 ish goes down for her first nap at 9:45-10:15ish. She usually goes down for nap 2 around 2:30-3. But all this s past week she hasn't been wanting to go to bed and had been staying up too late and not sleeping in any longer. Overall missing out on sleep! Today, I put her down at 12 she slept until 1:45 and went to bed at 6:40 without any hesitation. I'd like her to stay up a little later So I think I will try different times but after today I'd like to stick with 1 nap and see how it goes :)

14 months when she moved into the toddler room at school. I was very skeptical at first, but shortly after she transitioned she was sleeping longer (total time) than she was by taking two naps.

Around 10 months. It was a sad sad day. I am fearing the 1 nap to no naps may be earlier as well.

It was 14.5 months for LO! She wakes up at 7:30-8 and usually goes down for a nap around 12:30-1pm. We had a few weeks of NO naps but she is back on her schedule at the moment.

12 months but it was forced because of daycare policy. I think he could have gone a couple more months with two naps.

I wish I had an answer. We're sort of still on a 2-3-4 schedule with LO at almost 15 months. Lately, his afternoon nap has been crap or non-existent. I don't know when we'll transition him to one nap yet.

When did your LO transition to 1 nap per day? And how long after they wake up is it nap time?

My 14.5 month old still seems to need 2 naps. She wants her first nap about 3 hrs after she wakes up. I don't know if she can go much longer than 3.5 hrs. She gets so cranky. She is starting daycare in January and they only do 1 nap in the room she is going in.
