I was just thinking about this. She takes 1 nap at daycare but will still take 2 at home with us. We kept it as a "rest period" for several months though bc every few days she would fall asleep...and on those days the afternoon nap was shorter. It was hard making plans there for awhile. He would nap really well for his morning nap, but then either only slept 30 minutes in the afternoon, or didn't sleep at all. I finally gave in and just pushed it back to 12:30 instead of 10am. He would still go to sleep between 10 and 11 if I let him, but it's better to wait until after lunch.
