I'm 9m pp (2nd csec), and while it's not really tender anymore, it does get random aches and twinges of pain occasionally. I think healing can wildly vary, but I'd say up to a year is "normal".

Maybe a month, I guess mine healed quickly but I had no residual tenderness.

Mine is still tender at 5.5 months. My doctor said it typically goes away around a year but she did give me a full tube of numbing gel that I use as needed so that's an option I guess!

I remember it feeling tender for about 7-8 months. Then I still had a lot of numb sensation around there for over a year.

I would say it was tender for a lot of months before it stop feeling that way maybe 5-7 months.

I'm a little over a year out now and one side is risen but the other side is flat. I still hate touching the risen side because it's like this weird somewhat long bump there (like a sideways raindrop! How fitting). I don't think it's tender... it just kind of grosses me out. Ha!

My doctor did warn me that usually your nerves are healing and everyone heals differently. For her - she couldn't sense anything around her c-section for almost a year, like it was just a numb part of her body. Mine was felt numb only for about 2 months.

I'm 9 weeks out from my C section and my stomach is still really tender. I forget how it was with my first C section!

When did your incision site/scar stop feeling tender and stop hurting?
