@Thehistoryofus: No, I don't force it. I usually just offer each side to her and if she decides after a minute that she doesn't want to do it, we just go get a bottle if I know she's hungry.

I have gone over 24 hours and there is still milk there. So if she wants it, let her try but maybe don't force her?

@BabyBoecksMom: I only have a manual pump so I stopped a while ago because honestly, it seemed like it was better to just spend time with her than take the time to manually pump everything and it was irritating. So I think her gradually stopping has gradually started to dry me up.

She doesn't scream, she just has no interest. She acts like she's going to nurse then just stops and wants to play with me (smiling, giggling). I guess I'll try tomorrow morning and maybe Thursday morning and if she doesn't want to nurse, I'll assume she's just done.

W was done about that time. Every time I would try to nurse her, she would scream and pull away. I didn't want to push it or make it a chore for either of us, so I continued to pump for 2 more months before giving in.

So LO didn't want to nurse this morning and mornings are now the only time she does want to nurse (and if she wakes up at night but that's rare). So it's been over 24 hours now. I planned to try again tomorrow morning but if she refuses then, is she done with it? I decided to take out one bottle from the freezer a day to extend when she's getting breastmilk although it'll only be about 3 oz a day and we only have 7 bottles.

At what point is she done? I wanted to go longer but I feel like it is a good stopping point for us even though I'm sad. And she'll have made it to just shy of 7 months with at least a little breastmilk every day so I guess that's better than I could have done (she was EBF until about 3.5 months, mostly until about 5.5, and then started to gradually tip the scales to mostly formula).
