I'm not anti TV and don't have a problem with my kids watching it but my oldest can easily get sucked into watching it a lot. My husband and I have a difference of opinion on TV watching amounts and sometimes we just want to veg out too so the TV is on a lot! I figure the limited time she's getting from those times isn't a huge deal. If it's someone we're close to and they're not actually watching something I will ask then to turn it off.</p> <p>My family thinks I'm nuts btw. Before I would have answered when I had bad "morning" sickness (aka, 24/7sickness) for LO2, but even then I limited it to two 30 minutes shows right when we got home from work/daycare so I could rest before starting dinner. The amount of time the TV is on or someone is playing on the phone is embarrassing. I SAHM so if I'm sick (and I have been the past 4 days) then it's all about survival and I don't even feel bad. We will get back on track this week! I remember a lot of screentime when I was pregnant too, I was so tired and had bad MS. </p>
