DS was all over the place. I was worried when we took him out of the crib at 2, but he doesn't move as much anymore. In the 6 months, he's fallen out twice.

Mine just turned 2 and is allll over the place. I think he alternates between having his bum up, laying on his stomach and laying on his back, so I think he just inches his way around until he hits a wall.

We just switched him to a big boy bed last week and just did a mattress on the floor for that reason, but so far he just inches up to one of the walls at either the top or side of the bed haha

My son is 26 months and he mostly stays in one place now when he sleeps - he'll roll from front to back but we don't find him at the opposite end of the crib the way we used to.

My oldest doesn't move much at all at 2.5 but my 11 month old still moves around a bit. I agree that I may be a personality thing. My brother never stopped moving like crazy. Even as a teenage my mom would frequently find him hanging upside down off the side of his bed, dead asleep.

Our 7 mo never even stirs unless he wakes up. It freaks me out and I have to check that he's breathing! He will sleep on his back or tummy and either way he never moves.

My 6 month olds are rolling all over the crib. I was wondering when they stop moving so much. Although, they aren't able to control their rolls, so maybe (hopefully?) when they gain some control it will calm down.

My 3.5 year old is still all over the place. We tried having her sleep without a bed rail on vacation and she fell out.

C is 2.5 and still all over her queen bed. But she's only fallen out once, and she may have been climbing out at the time, we aren't a sure.

Honestly, I think it might just be personality. I barely move in my sleep, and my 7 month old seems to be the same. She spends at least part of the night every night in our bed, and the only time she really moves is when she wakes up and thinks it's play time.
