I was worried when we took him out of the crib at 2, but he doesn't move as much anymore. In the 6 months, he's fallen out twice. I think he alternates between having his bum up, laying on his stomach and laying on his back, so I think he just inches his way around until he hits a wall. I agree that I may be a personality thing. My brother never stopped moving like crazy. Even as a teenage my mom would frequently find him hanging upside down off the side of his bed, dead asleep. It freaks me out and I have to check that he's breathing! He will sleep on his back or tummy and either way he never moves. I was wondering when they stop moving so much. Although, they aren't able to control their rolls, so maybe (hopefully?) when they gain some control it will calm down. I barely move in my sleep, and my 7 month old seems to be the same.
