Almost nothing. I sleep a lot, drink green smoothies, and usually I am back on my feet in a day or two. I take LO for everything, but I think that will ease up when he can talk and tell me whats wrong. I constantly worry about ear infections because I know they are so painful and there's no way for me to know without getting them checked.

I only go for regularly scheduled specialist appointments and even then because they'll stop giving me care somehow if I don't show up. Otherwise I might need to be on the brink of death.

Not often. Generally only if I know I need meds or if I've been sick for like a week+.

I have annual routine appointments with a few doctors and try to address worries I have with them then (once I was having neck pain when I turned my head and it was bad to the point of not being able to check the blind spots when driving - I brought this up at the routine appointment and was prescribed physical therapy that helped me tremendously and felt like a massage at times).
Other than that I go when I think I need antibiotics. I just got over the flu - I would have gone to the doctor if the 102 fever lasted for 3 days but it didn't.

When i know i need antibiotics (sinus infections, etc) or can't kick something. I rarely have issues that require I need to see a regular dr. Issues like my back, I immediately see a chiro. Something would have to bother me for awhile before I saw someone because I find that most resolve on their own.....

@rachiecakes: same for me.

I normally don't have health issues but this past fall had a few things all in a row. Being a huge worry wart, I saw two different docs and went for a full physical. Glad I did it for the peace of mind.

Very rarely. Usually when DH is sick of my coughing or if my pain is severe for over a few weeks.

Like @LuLu Mom: , not pregnant? Never. Even when I had the martian death flu (swine flu) a few years back I didn't go to the doctor and went back to work the next day.

But when I got insanely itchy over the last few days, I called my OB and demanded labs, lol!

Pregnant, I go when I have a big enough concern or at least call and talk to a nurse for peace of mind.

Non-Pregnant: unless I'm pretty sure I need an antibiotic for something (sinus infection, ect.) I push through and don't go unless it's lingering or I'm missing work.

I rush T to the doctor for everything...but when it comes to me I rarely go to the doctor.

I'm feeling like crud and pretty sure I need to go. I just don't take it as seriously as I do with my son. Haha

What about you? Are you quick to go or do you usually hold off?
