I'm the type of person that will play it tough until I'm at the point of DYING and suffering from total collapse. Which is the point at which DH/concerned family member will slap my wrist and send me to bed.

Like last night I spend half of the superbowl tossing my cookies because of a killer headache. Thought I could ignore it and go to a party with a 2 month old in the snow. Derp.

I seem to resist them, but my DH is good about watching her whenever I ask, so that is helpful. It's hard though, evenings are the worst!

Lately, DH has been giving me more and more 'time outs'. Times when he'll take out DS and just tell me to go to our bedroom and lay down for a minute or something. Normally, I would think this was incredibly sweet if these moments didn't tend to come after DS and I had both pitched a pretty big fit at each other - which does neither of us any good, I know, I know...

So I'm wondering. What does it take before you need a time out? Do you resist them or do you welcome them?
