I leave for work at 6:45 am, so no way I'm waking up even earlier than 5:45 to accommodate doing those daily chores, too.</p> <p>I pack lunch the night before, and DH makes bottles/straw cups for both girls the night before. If it's a hot entrée, in the morning we use the electric kettle to boil water for our food thermos in the morning and we microwave the food for about a minute, then put it in the hot thermos and it stays warm for 4-6 hours. I can see also packing her rice, pasta, quesadilla, and mac &amp; cheese. </p> <p>Now I'm waking up a bit earlier to pack her lunch in the morning before I get LO up for school. It's not like it takes long but we're on a pretty tight timeline in the morning. </p> <p>Just wondering if most of you are packing lunch the day before or the day of. If you use a Yumbox do you put everything in there and leave it in the fridge overnight? </p>
