Last time I took him in was when his fever was 103 degrees. I felt that was a little too high for comfort. We found it was a virus and nothing we could do, but it's peace of mind in case it got worse.<br /> Also, if respiratory is impaired, I would bring him in. Unless it's an ear infection, they've never really given us meds. DS has a rash right now on his belly and legs where his overnight diaper rubs and I'm struggling on whether or not to call the doc. We've tried cortisone and it hasn't helped and he says the rash hurts. So far the doctor has been good about letting us know if we should come in or not based on symptoms. Earlier this year they were both puking and he said not to come in (unless it got worse) and told us what to do. Most things I feel like just need to run their course. I'll sometimes call the nurse for tips but unless she thinks we need to go in we usually just ride it out. </p>
